We install shrubs, plants, and greenery suited to this climate and your property. Every property on the Cumberland Plateau is different, and we pay attention to that.
We will talk through your goals, help you think through placement and variety, and do the work carefully so what you invest in actually grows. If you are not sure what you want, that is fine. We have plenty of questions to help you figure it out.
Do you help with plant selection, or do I need to come with a plan?
We help with both. If you have ideas, we work with them. If you are starting from scratch, we will ask questions and make recommendations based on your property, your goals, and what does well in this climate.
What plants do well in the Sewanee area and climate?
Native species and plants suited to the Cumberland Plateau tend to perform best. We recommend varieties that are low-maintenance, drought-tolerant once established, and right for the soil conditions on your property.
How do you prepare the soil before planting?
We assess the existing soil, amend it where needed, and prepare the beds properly before any plant goes in the ground. Good prep work is what makes the difference between plants that survive and plants that thrive.
Do you offer any follow-up care after an installation?
We can build follow-up visits into your service plan. We also walk you through care instructions after every install so you know what to expect.
Can you work alongside an existing landscape plan or designer?
Yes. We are comfortable following a plan or collaborating with a designer. Just share what you have and we will work from it.
