Mulch and Pine Straw

Protect your beds. Feed your plants.

Mulch and pine straw do more than make a property look sharp. They protect your beds, retain moisture, and support healthy growth through every season.

We handle sourcing, delivery, and installation. We pay attention to what your specific beds actually need before we start spreading.

  • How often should mulch or pine straw be refreshed?

Typically once a year, in spring. Pine straw breaks down faster and may benefit from a refresh in fall as well. We can take a look and recommend based on what you have.

  • Which is better for my property, mulch or pine straw?

Both work well on Cumberland Plateau properties. Pine straw is a natural fit given the tree coverage in the area and tends to look more at home in wooded settings. Mulch gives a cleaner, more manicured look. We are happy to talk through the options.

  • Do you prep and edge the beds before installing?

Yes. Bed prep is part of the job. We edge, clear weeds, and make sure the beds are ready before we lay anything.

  • Can you help estimate how much material I need?

Yes. We assess the beds, calculate coverage, and take care of sourcing and delivery. You do not need to figure that out yourself.

  • What types and colors of mulch do you offer?

We work with several options and will recommend what looks best and performs best for your property and region.
